Last week our first pairs of KinderMountain Adventure trousers arrived and we rushed to Mt. Rainier to test them out and get some photos!
I decided for our first samples to get them in my children's sizes so that I could get HONEST feedback from the kids... because we know that if they're not comfortable the kids will let us know immediately.
Our initial thoughts when opening the packaging were "WOW!!!!" They exceeded our expecations and the fabric was far better than anticipated. They're a thicker nylon with 4-way stretch that allows for great range of movement. They offer a reinforced knee for the mini-climbers (as seen above). And they're nice and soft on the inside- so there weren't any complaints there!
We did find some minor details we are working out with our manufacturer, like removing pocket zippers, adding more length and width to the leg, and shortening the adjustable waist band a bit - but overall, those are minor fixes and our manufacturer knocked it out of the park on the first iteration of these pants. We can't wait to get the updated version in to share with you and do more field testing.
